 | Kick Off the Library Summer Forum with a Evening of Dramatic Reading presented by Warren Hammack and Pamela White
| The Olivia Rodham Memorial Library is hosting its annual Summer Forum every Thursday evening in July at the Nelson Town Hall.

Occasionally, if a member of the "I Love Nelson NH" Facebook page leaves a particularly interesting message, we'll do our best to share it here.
Today, a comment written by Sasha Katherine Hall DuVerlie and a link offered by Buzz Laughlin caught our eye.
Sasha would like us to know that the "First day of "The Game of Village" in Nelson was wonderful!! Nelson is such a gorgeous place to be in the summer."
Buzz writes: "A past Granite Lake resident Dr. Charles Eastman, aka Ohiyesa, wrote many books including "The Life of an Indian". He was a founder of the Boy Scouts of America and the Camp Fire Girls. He was the only MD to care for the wounded and dying at the massacre at Wounded Knee. We should have his books in the Nelson Library."
