Greetings! There so much to do this summer! "The Game of Village" Summer camp for kids ... musical concerts at Apple Hill and dancing events at the Town Hall ... the Library Forums ... sailing, boating, kayaking, hiking ... fireworks on the lake ... gardening ... and the caring and sharing of all of our friends and neighbors.
What a wonderful season! What a wonderful town!

Here is a photo of Nelson School's sixth grade on their recent class trip to Boston. They went on a Duck Tour, ate lunch at Quincy Market, visited the aquarium, viewed a 3D IMax movie on sharks, and dined at the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. All in all, it was a wonderful day!
Congratulations to our four 6th Grade graduates!
Graduation ceremonies will be held at the Nelson Elementary School on Monday, June 20th, at 10:00 am.

 | Supervisors of the Checklist to Meet | The Supervisors of the Checklist will be meeting on Tuesday, June 14 at 7:00 pm in the Nelson Town Offices.
We will be determining which voters will be getting "purge" letters and getting them ready to mail.
Every ten years, according to state statute, voters who have not voted in an election in the past four years will be taken off the voter checklist. This is even if we know that they live in town and even if they registered to vote in September, but didn't vote in November of this year. They will have to come and re-register to get back on the voter checklist once they have received the letter. |
 | Brainstorming Session | Lisa Sieverts, member of last year's Town Buildings Committee, will meet with interested residents for a citizens' discussion and brainstorming session concerning the Town Hall/Old Schoolhouse restoration project, on Wednesday night, June 22, 7:00 pm at the Library. Please come and offer your input to this important discussion. For some background on this project, please read the letter sent from William Cote, Health & Safety Adviser, NH Local Government Center in Concord. Read letter >>> |
