Greetings!
My goodness, but we are all going to be busy at the beginning of this month! Yes ... we DO have our 1st Thursday Pot Luck Supper tomorrow evening, (March 3rd), at the Nelson Congregational Church. If you haven't yet been to one of these, just follow your nose and discover where all the great food aromas are coming from. If it's been awhile since you've attended, please know that you have been missed! We all hope to see you at 6:30 pm in the Henry Melville Fellowship Hall of the church.
On Friday, don't forget to attend the Annual Nelson School District Meeting, held at 7:00 pm at the Town Hall. School District offices up for re-election this year are: School District Treasurer: Hope Lothrop; School District Clerk: Katharine Schillemat; and School District Moderator: Richard Church.
Do you need to know more about this meeting? Contact Kelly French at 847-3276.
And there's even MORE to mark on your calendars for March! But first, are you seeing any lawn yet?

 | Town Meeting, March 8th
| March rolls around each year with more than the usual anticipation of the warmer days of Spring's arrival. The weather may warm up ... but things have been known to 'heat up' as thoughts turn to the Annual Town Meeting.
This year's Town Meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of March, the 8th, promptly at 7:00 pm in the Nelson Town Hall. The voting of the candidates for town offices and the School Board will close just before Town Meeting begins. The polls will be open for most of the day beginning at 11:00 am in order for you to cast your vote for your candidate.
For the past few weeks we have published the names of the candidates and the office for which they are running. This week is no exception to that habit, and you can see the list at the bottom of this week's newsletter.
If you have not yet seen the Town Warrant Articles for this year, you can preview them here.
This year's Town Meeting will be one for the record books soon enough. Make sure your voice, and your opinion, is heard by attending the Town Meeting.
