The awards will be presented at a formal ceremony on November 8 at Mississauga Convention Centre. Award information is available on the Mississauga Board of Trade website, including downloadable nomination forms for all award categories.

Bike 4 Betty 2012

Get out your bikes, bring along your family and friends, and come out on Sunday, May 27 for the fifth annual Bike 4 Betty! Beginning and ending at Port Credit Memorial Park in Mississauga, Bike 4 Betty has something for everyone! Choose from the leisurely 2k ride perfect for families with young children, or challenge yourself with the 100k route. In total, there are five distances to choose from: 2k, 15k, 30k, 75k or 100k!
Bike 4 Betty's goal is to raise $250,000 for cancer care services at Trillium Health Centre...and they need help to do it! Registration is FREE, and 100% of all pledges raised will support cancer care services at Trillium.

In celebrating the contributions these accomplished individuals have made in building a stronger Canada, Pioneers for Change will demonstrate the potential held by all new Canadians to transform Canada.
The story
For almost 30 years, Skills for Change has been working to build a Canada where every immigrant succeeds. Skills for Change has become an important first stop for people setting the course for their career in Canada and are dedicated to providing new and innovative forms of training, programming, tools and expertise to ensure Canada has the culturally diverse workforce that's needed for a vibrant society and economic prosperity.

Join us on June 5 for a fantastic evening that will change the way you look at Canada and Canadians. You will experience first-hand the stories of our honourees, told in word and film. You will also be part of the making of a film that will bring the stories and the short films together into an unforgettable documentary.
