Urban Prep is fielding a charity team for the 34th Annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 9, 2011 and we were hoping that you would be interested in Teaming UP with us.
We are looking to have as many runners as possible to raise funds and awareness for Urban Prep and the importance of high quality public education. We ask members of our team solicit pledges from family and friends to meet the $500 per runner goal. Funds raised will go towards our UP To & Through College Program which provides guidance and support to Urban Prep graduates while they are in college.
As a member of Urban Prep's Chicago Marathon Team, you will receive:
- Complimentary registration in the Chicago Marathon (a $145 value)
- "Fun-Runs" with other team members and Urban Prep students prior to the marathon
- A commemorative Urban Prep Chicago Marathon t-shirt
- The great feeling of accomplishment associated with running a marathon and helping your favorite network of charter schools!
