Dear Friend,
I'd like to share two stories with you.
Recently, an Urban Prep alumnus visited my office and proudly showed me his grades from the first semester in college. He'd earned a 3.63 GPA. This was a young man who often struggled while at Urban Prep, but we didn't stop believing in him and he didn't stop believing in himself. Now, he's on the Dean's List in college.
A few days after that visit, a parent sent me an e-mail reading: "Because of Urban Prep, I now have TWO college students and one on his way!!! Thank you for never giving up and instilling in my boys that they can do all things. WE BELIEVE!!!!"
These encouraging stories are reminders that the work we do each day is transformative, and proves that we aren't just changing individual lives, but changing the trajectory of future generations as well.
Thank you for being an integral part of making this change in the lives and futures of the young men we serve at Urban Prep.
We Believe,

Tim King
