2010 WAS SUPER,

THANKS TO YOU!

2010 has been an incredible year for Urban Prep. We graduated our first class, achieved a 100% college acceptance rate, opened a new school, launched two new programs, and much, much more (see highlights below). We've been humbled by the public support we've received over the last twelve months and feel honored to have been recognized internationally for our efforts.

While we know it will be hard to top this year, we are confident that 2011 will be even brighter for Urban Prep and our students. And with your continued support, we know we will be successful. About Urban Prep Academies

Urban Prep Academies was founded in 2002 by Tim King and a group of African-American education, business and civic leaders who wanted to improve the educational opportunities available to urban boys. In 2005, this nonprofit organization was approved under Chicago's Renaissance 2010 initiative to open Urban Prep Charter Academy for Young Men-- Englewood Campus. Urban Prep is the country's first charter public high school for boys. Since accepting its first class in the fall of 2006, Urban Prep has been recognized internationally for its success in improving the academic, social and emotional development of urban young men. In addition to the Englewood campus, Urban Prep operates two other schools: the East Garfield Park Campus and the South Shore Campus. 100% of Urban Prep's graduates have been admitted to college.
