The Cattery Newsletter - The Scratching PostOctober 2011

Dear Friends,

You've probably heard us say it before, but the fall is our busiest time of year!  We are gearing up for all of our fall fundraisers - the first one is just around the corner!  Read about our Tipsy Canvas event below!
Also, in November each year we have our annual matching fund drive!  We will send out a separate email with the details of this year's drive on November 1st, so be on the lookout for this great way to double your donation!
Unfortunately, I have to end this note with another cliff hanger.  The Cattery has been working on an extra special project that will benefit all of our community!  As soon as we are able, we will send out a special announcement!  Don't worry, it will be worth the wait! ;-)
Sincerely,

Samantha Person
Shelter Director

Kitty of The Month
Pebbles

Hi, my name is Pebbles. I was abandoned in a parking lot with my sister and brother. My brother has been adopted, but my sister Poppy and I are still here at the shelter. I'm a sweet girl with beautiful long hair and just look how captivating my eyes are! I would make a great companion for almost any family - I can be a bit shy so households with younger children or those with a lot of activity might scare me! Smaller families would be fine! You can visit me at the shelter Friday - Sunday from 12-5pm!Hi, my name is Pebbles. I was abandoned in a parking lot with my sister and brother. About The Cattery

The Cattery offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats.  From there, we seek permanent, loving homes for these animals.  In addition, our organization promotes public awareness regarding the value of animals and their welfare, the dangers of pet overpopulation, and the benefit of quality human-animal companionship.
