Tickets Now On Sale!
Greetings!
Tickets are now on sale for the 3rd annual Amici di Bologna dinner, reception and academic panel to be held in New York on Saturday, June 5th from 4:30pm until 10:00pm. To purchase your tickets online, visit the Amici pages on the Bologna Center website.
Our program starts with an Academic Panel featuring Director Ken Keller and Professors Erik Jones, Karim Mezran and Thomas Row of the faculty. This year, our panel's focus will be Islam in Europe. Following brief presentations by our panelists, the audience will be invited to ask questions and join in the discussion.
Our venue this year is the Desmond Tutu Conference Center, located on the grounds of the historic General Theological Seminary in New York's Chelsea neighborhood. Guests will sit down to dinner in the Seminary's beautiful wood paneled refectory which dates from 1899.
The proceeds from the sale of tickets and silent auction items, net of expenses, will go to benefit the Bologna Center. We are also seeking individual and corporate sponsors to help us underwrite this event and thus generate an even bigger return for the Center. If you would like to be a sponsor or know a company which might agree to co-sponsor this event, please see the Amici Registration page for more details.
Please also help us reach out to all of the Bolognese living in the U.S. by forwarding a copy of this newsletter to your friends and classmates. Just click on this link and enter their email addresses.
Finally, take a look at the photos below from the Amici events of 2008 and 2009. We hope you will join us in this new Bolognese tradition! We look forward to seeing you on June 5th. A presto!
Sincerely,
Tom Tesluk, BC '81 Chairman

Aiutateci!
Do you have a vacation home in the U.S. or overseas? Please consider donating a week or two of time in your vacation property for auction at our Amici dinner on June 5th. Last year's auction of 10 days at the Neubohn's London townhouse was a big success. We hope to have several properties to offer to our alumni and guests this year. All proceeds will go to benefit the Bologna Center.
Click here to contact our auction coordinator Daniela Kaisth if you have any questions or if you would like to offer your vacation property for this auction. Grazie!
