We cannot believe it is already the second week of September. School has started once again, Oktoberfest is in the air, Halloween candy and Christmas has made its way onto store shelves.
This latest edition of our email Blast should have made it into your inboxes the first week of September. Vacation time unfortunately lasted into September. This year we chose to drive the country side to Las Vegas. Nothing brings a family closer together than a 38 hour truck ride! The mountain ranges from Colorado to Nevada were absoluetly breathtaking. Xeriscaping in all forms.

Although we do not gamble, Vegas had a lot to offer to both ourselves and our children. We highly recommend walking shoes and cool, loose clothing as our average temperature was 108 degrees.

We sincerely hope that everyone has taken some time off to enjoy the warm weather as it looks as though fall is right around the corner.
Signs of fall are all around us right now....burning bushes are changing colour, leaves have begun to fall and TNT is advertising SNOW on the radio (99.5 KFun).
Now is the time to make sure your landscape project can be completed before the snow begins. Fall is an ideal time to plant perrenials and shrubs, repair lawns, and fix that grading issue before the spring flooding begins.
Fall is also a great time to plant a tree. In the last edition, we mentioned September 21st as National Tree Day in Canada. We are happy to announce that St. Aloysius School in Kitchener has been chosen to receive 2 new large trees in the Kindergaren Play Area of their school. TNT has teamed up with one of our peers, Fast Forest for this event. Look for pictures in October.Thank you to all those that were interested in having TNT plant a tree on their school grounds.
Consider planting a tree yourself. If you would like help to decide a type of tree or the best location for the tree, just call and we will be able to consult. Remember also that nominations in this year's Tree Hunt will only be accepted till September 30th.
