Winter Break Hours
Irving Rec. Center will be open for FREE drop-in during LPS Winter Break.

Monday-Thursday, 1:00-8:00 p.m.
Friday, 1:00-6:00 p.m.
Saturday, 1:00-5:00 p.m.
Closed Sunday

The rec. center will be closed Saturday, December 24 and Monday, December 26 for the Christmas Holiday.
Parent Survey
Please consider taking a moment to complete a brief survey about your family's experience with Irving Recreation Center. The information we receive is valuable to us as we gauge the effectiveness of our work with young people and is also used as part of a larger evaluation of our performance according to City budget outcomes.  The survey can be completed online in approximately 2 minutes by clicking the link below.

RECognized Student of the Month
December Student of the MonthWe are pleased to announce that Irving Middle School sixth-grader Emmalee W. has been selected as Irving Rec. Center's December RECognized Student of the Month. This fall Emmalee participated in our Swimming Club, and she currently serves as a Front Desk Assistant through "Help Wanted," our after school youth volunteer program.  RECognized Students of the Month receive a certificate, an Irving Recreation Center t-shirt, and will be invited to attend an end of the year RECognized Student of the Month celebration with two friends.  Way to go, Emmalee! 
Free Holiday Haircuts
During the month of December Irving Recreation Center is offering FREE holiday haircuts for Irving Middle School students. Haircuts will be provided by a rec. center AmeriCorps Member who is a licensed cosmetologist/barber.  Students must return a completed Parent Permission Form before scheduling an appointment.  Questions?  Contact the rec. center at 402-441-7954.
