Acupuncture is recognized by both the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the United Nation's World Health Organization (WHO) for being an effective therapy in stroke recovery. Acupuncture has been reported to significantly improve both motor and cognitive functions in those who continue to suffer with the damaging effects of a stroke.  Often, recovery gradually comes to a halt with conventional therapies.  Like many other ailments, acupuncture's unique perceptive of health can provide answers and solutions that may not exist elsewhere.
