The CDE will fund Tobacco-Use Prevention Education Program (TUPE) Tier 1 grants for three years from July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2014. The level of funding appropriated by the Legislature, the number of qualified applications, and the total amount requested by qualified applications will determine the number of grants awarded. The TUPE funds are intended for tobacco-use prevention, intervention, and cessation programs only. The TUPE grant application is due June 11, 2011.
