After the event Mayor Lopez commented, "This was a fantastic opportunity for local elected officials and education leaders to meet with one of California's top lawmakers. We are very grateful to Assemblyman Torlakson for his commitment to our schools, our children and to the hard working people of the San Joaquin Valley.
