Enrollment Forms and Make-up Meeting   

• Re-enrollment forms are due to the office no later than Wednesday, February 24th at 4:00 PM  
• Please honor this deadline as the March lottery is fast approaching  
• If you missed the meeting, please pick-up your enrollment packet in the office on Tuesday  
• A make-up meeting has been set for Thursday, February 25th at 5:00 PM in Journey's MPR for those not in attendance 

Attendance and Timeliness   

• As highlighted at the community meeting, attendance and timeliness at Journey School are essential  
• Recently, timeliness has been a challenge for about 20% of us  
• A BIG thanks to those who consistently arrive to school on time  
• If you have stumbled in this area, please do better starting now  
• Remember, class begins at 8:30 promptly  
• Your teachers want you to know that when your child arrives late he/she misses out on a handshake, speech work, mental math, movement, and other essential learning activities  
• In other words, when the door repeatedly opens, the teachers' job is made much more difficult because learning is compromised  
• So, please ensure your student(s) arrives no later than 8:25  
• If you are late, we need you to escort your student(s) to the office for check-in  
• This allows staff to take accurate attendance and to escort your student(s) into class when your teacher is ready to receive him/her  
• It will also send an important message to students: At Journey, teachers and parents uphold commitments together and without excuse  
• We thank you in advance for your understanding and support  
• Again, your teachers are asking for help and this is one way you can show your support and appreciation
