Community Outreach
Free Screening
of "The Calling"
Tuesday, Dec. 28th
6:00 PM
Long Beach Main Library

An 80 minute version of the four hour film will be shown including an after show invitation to engage with a prestigious panel, including two of the film's stars, Rob Pene and Shmuly Yanklowitz.

The Calling is a four-hour documentary series that follows seven Muslims, Catholics, Evangelical Christians, and Jews on a dramatic journey - training to become professional clergy. A new look at an old job, The Calling takes viewers into the unknown world of seminaries to tell entertaining and compelling personal stories of how faith is lived today.

Long Beach Public Library and Long Beach Central Area Association present Community Cinema each month with a discussion and Q&A session following each screening.

Close the Gap

Last chance to make a donation before the end of the year! Donations are tax deductible, so now is the time for giving. Thank you to everyone who has generously given. We appreciate all the support we receive. Every bit helps!

Journey School will be closed during the holidays, so checks can be sent to the school at 27102 Foxborough, Aliso Viejo, Ca 92656 or credit card donations can be made through the Journey School website at www.journeyschool.net.

Parking Lot Ettiquette

Please remember to be courteous and careful in the parking lot. There has been a report of a door hitting another car and not leaving a note. Since some of the parking spots are very narrow, it is especially important to use caution when opening your doors. Thank you.
