The IPPS Eastern Region funds with HRI have provided a total of $4250 in research grants to three projects for 2012.  Research topics include screening of essential oils as potential biopesticides, an Asian Longhorned beetle monitoring system and the use of algal mulch and composted algae to improve water and nutrient holding and as a component of container nursery substrates.   Read more
