R. 'Vinecrest'  | Research Centre in Ontario Re-opening
If you've heard of Rhododendron 'Vinemark' or R.
'Vinecrest', you may recall they were developed at a research centre in Ontario
known as Vineland. The Centre dwindled
down during the late 1980s and 90s until there was no more ornamental breeding
taking place. However, in 2007, Vineland
Research and Innovation Centre (VRIC) opened with fresh funding from both the
federal and provincial governments of $12.5 million. Read more about who's been hired as
