A few months ago, we created the Purple Feather of Fabulous-ness to be awarded to those who live by example and make this world a better place to live in. Without further ado, here are the recipients of this month's PURPLE FEATHER OF FABULOUS-NESS AWARD:
EAST YORK BARBERSHOPPERS
Our office is located in Harmony Hall and we enjoy listing to the East York Chorus when they meet at the Hall every Tuesday evening to rehearse.
The East York Barbershoppers are huge supporters of Harmonize 4 Speech - www.harmonize4speech.org - They are hosting their 44th Annual Charity Auction and Sale this Friday, May 4th at Harmony Hall (2 Gower Street, Toronto) to raise money for this worthwhile cause. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the Auction starts at 8:00 pm. Admission is only $ 5.00 and includes refreshments!
There are lots of great items for the auction (see photo above) and now, all that is needed...people to buy stuff!This is always a fun event and we thought you might want to join us for some fun, food and frolic -- and some singing and shopping too!
Items for the auction include: a Gas BBQ, Designer watches, Golf games, small appliances, Jays Tickets, frozen meats for your summer BBQs, a host of brand-new items from The Shopping Channel and lots more...

Much of the work we do is emotional. When we do our work with our trademark skills -- care, compassion and, sometimes comedy - move day becomes much less stressful.
LEGENDS WINERY
What a wonderful winery this is and not just because they have created three of the absolute best wines we have ever tasted - Diva Malbec-Merlot (which we like to call Diva Purple), Diva Sauvignon Blanc and Diva Rose.
As soon as we discovered Diva wine at the LCBO, we sampled several bottles and declared Diva Wine fabulous enough to share with our clients, family and friends!
On the wine bottle label, a DIVA is described as "a woman of outstanding talent, energy, and a larger than life quality. Taking a walk in her shoes will provide a chance for the talents of others to shine." That's why we thought for sure, they HAD named it after us!!
In addition to the great name, proceeds from the sale of each bottle of Diva wine go to improve the lives of abused women and children.

Universal Music Canada JUNO AWARDS After-Party in Ottawa
Legends Estates' award-winning DIVA wines were the exclusive wines of this star-studded event in celebration of Canadian musical talent. Held in our nation's capital immediately following the JUNO Awards, DIVA had a chance to rub elbows with a bevy of musicians and celebrities at the Universal Music After Party.
Check out DIVA wines at the LCBO or, if you're driving to Niagara, visit the winery at 488 Ontario Street North in Beamsville. Watch for the signs on the QEW.
