| ABOUT CIRCLE OF CARE
The Power of Prevention
Circle of Care is a unique prevention program that has been offering an array of services to teen mothers for more than a decade. We seek to decrease repeat pregnancies in Troup County by helping mothers maintain school enrollment or G.E.D. Course completion. Additionally, staff provides home-based parent education, parent/child group activities, referral information, and transporation services.
Over the last decade-
*Approximately 700 teen mothers, babies, and fathers have been assisted by Circle of Care.
* The high school completion/ G.E.D. attainment rate for program participants has been 95%.
*There have been no confirmed cases of child abuse or neglect among children of teen mothers enrolled in Circle of Care.
