The Plano ISD Council of PTAs presents this informative program on Wednesday, November 10 from 7-9 p.m. The evening will host a panel including: Senator Florence Shapiro, Plano Police Narcotics Unit and Malini Ghoshal, RPh, MS, a local pharmacist.

The Dallas Stars have designated Saturday, November 20 as the Jasper High School Night at the Dallas Stars! Discounted tickets and meal options are available to all Jasper HS students, family, friends, and faculty. The Jasper Band and Cheerleaders will be performing at 6:15 pm on the AT&T Plaza before the game. The Dallas Stars will be taking on the Colorado Avalanche at 7:00 pm. Don't miss this opportunity to cheer on the Dallas Stars and participate in Jasper Spirit Night.

November's "Sustainable Suggestion of the Month"

Instead of spending hundreds of dollars switching the toilets in your home to low-water use models, spend about $20 per toilet on a dual flush converter, a device that goes in the tank and uses up to 70 percent less water per flush. They're easy to install and available at Wal-Mart and Home Depot. Google "dual flush converter" and look at the best-rated models.
