Jasper Band Night
October 13 |
Jasper Band will host their October band night at JC's Burger House on Wednesday, October 13. Please support the Jasper Band by dining at JC's that night. JC's will donate 15% of all receipts to the band. You can phone in your order ahead of time by calling 972-384-1940. JC's is located at 8612 Preston Road.

"Be In the Know! K2--The Controversial New Drug and Other Drug Issues in Our Community" |
The Plano ISD Council of PTAs presents this informative program on Wednesday, November 10 from 7-9 p.m. The evening will host a panel including: Senator Florence Shapiro, Plano Police Narcotics Unit and Malini Ghoshal, RPh, MS, a local pharmacist.
Be in the "know" and understand what your student faces or will face. Students welcome with parents if appropriate.

Greetings!
On Monday, November 1 at 7 p.m. the Jasper PTSA will host a program "Your Teen is Driving." A speaker from the PISD Family Education & Guidance Services will talk about "generic" items involving teen drivers--Who will pay for gas/insurance? How do I know if my teen is ready to drive? Teen Driver Contracts, and much more. An Insurance Agent will be talking about insuring a teenage driver. A local Police Officer will discuss some of the issues involving teen drivers, restrictions for teen drivers (including how many other kids in car and curfew).

Reflections..."Together we can...."
Remember the deadline for Reflections entries is Monday, November 1! Continue working on your artistic expressions for the program--there are six different areas for you to express your talents. Be sure to visit www.jasperptsa.org for detailed rules and entry forms. Entries will be collected on November 1 in Room 1100A from 8-9 a.m, and 4:15-4:45 p.m. Contact Mrs. Shaastri and jasper.reflections@gmail.org with questions.
