Greetings and happy summer! We were happy to see so many of you at Allure Spa this past month for summer beauty fun, from pedicures and spray tans to facials and even blonder highlights! I hope you are enjoying the hot weather and looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July.
As the holiday approaches, I am aware of how truly blessed we are to live in the United States. Even on a bad day, we are still among the world's safest and wealthiest. As you know, part of my commitment to the young people in Bangladesh has grown out of my understanding of how truly blessed I have been. I am so excited to be sharing my talents and treasures with the orphans from Home of Joy. We have at least six beauty professionals committed to teaching in Bangladesh this fall, including Allure Spa staff Molly and her sister, Keleigh. Through their teaching and sharing, these women will give the orphans an invaluable gift: a way to support themselves for life. In return, the volunteer teachers will meet some incredible young people and have an amazing experience in Bangladesh. Please continue to pray for Friends of the World (fotwct.org) as we prepare for September.
Whether you're at the beach, grilling on the deck or sipping lemonade in the backyard, have fun this month! Take good care of yourself and enjoy your friends and family this summer, and we'll see you soon at Allure Spa!
