Wellness Tip | | |
Massage is like a mini-vacation that you take inside your own body.
Massage can help relieve muscular spasm and tension, raises immune efficiency, improves circulation, promotes the healing of tissues, increases healthy functioning of the skin, engenders profound relaxation, and offers emotional reassurance.
Massage can improve the appearance of your skin by breaking down cellulite. It can soften your skin and leave you with a healthy glow. Many people include massage in their beauty regimen for it's ability to promote a youthful appearance.
If any of these benefits and results sound appealing to you, schedule your massage with Beth or Maura today! |

Greetings!
Greetings! I can't believe it's the first day of June and we haven't even sent out the May newsletter! May was such a busy month for me, with all of our wonderful clients at Allure Spa, my mission work and my son Christian's graduation from B.C. High. Christian graduated from high school two weeks ago and will be attending Gordon College in the fall. I am so proud of him and so grateful to God for him.
When I began Allure Spa, Christian was only a year and a half old. It's hard to believe that he's going to college in a few short months! I am also beginning a new chapter in my life with my mission work in Bangladesh (can link to the website: fotwct.org). We had a very successful fundraiser at the Neighborhood Club on April 27. We raised over $11,000 for the beauty academy we are building -- thank you to so many of you who attended and for your generous support! Sohel Willard, an adult orphan from Home of Joy, has completed the painting and plumbing in the school rooms, and we are getting ready to train our first group of young women. I have been called to use my gifts to help the young women in Bangladesh. Please pray for me and for everyone working to help the poor and the hurting, whether they're right here in Quincy or halfway around the world.
My family and my mission work have kept me busy this Spring, and Allure Spa has been very busy too! I am so grateful for your continued support. You are an amazing group of clients and we look forward to sharing the summer with you.
God Bless,
Sandra Ishmael

| Summer Tip | |
Foundation Is Out, Tinted Moisturizer Is In
If you refuse to go bare in summer and can't imagine life without your foundation, consider putting away your foundation for the season and trying a tinted moisturizer.
Lighter than foundation, tinted moisturizers still cover flaws but feel less "cakey." And while foundations can feel as if they're melting off your face, tinted moisturizers won't.
Most women are darker in summer, so if you insist on using your foundation, consider one shade for summer and a lighter one for winter.
We recommend using GloMinerals Tinted Moisturizer. It comes in all different shades and has spf15 in it! |
