Greetings!
Greetings! I hope this newsletter finds everyone well. My spirits have certainly been lifted by the melting snow and warmer temperatures. It just might be time to start thinking about brightening your hair color or enjoying a refreshing body treatment to bring you into Spring!
I am so excited to share my latest news from Bangladesh. We have found a location for the beauty school we are establishing! I spent ten days in Bangladesh last month and it became clear that our school belongs at the Home of Joy Orphanage. The Lord has reminded me that Friends of the World Charitable Trust was started to help the orphans from Home of Joy in Khulna, and that is where we need to be. We are renting two rooms at the orphanage. Sohel Willard, a young adult orphan who is already working for us, will be in charge of installing the necessary plumbing and lights, as well as painting. Grace Willard, another young adult orphan, has already identified several interested students and she is helping with all of our administrative tasks. Our path has been made clear and I am so grateful!
Please save the date of April 27, 2011! It is Allure Spa Day in the city of Quincy and we are planning a fundraiser for Friends of the World that evening. It will be a time of celebrating, sharing and socializing, so please plan to join us. Details to come...
As always, be well, be good to yourself and your loved ones, and make sure you find some time to relax and enjoy this month.
God Bless You All,
Sandra Ishmael
