Greetings! Are you glad our cold, snowy January is over? I certainly am, even if the snow is still coming down. It's definitely time for some warmth and soothing relaxation. We would love to see you, or your special Valentine, this month at Allure Spa.
I am very excited to share some Friends of the World updates with you this month! The Friends of the World team just returned from Trinidad, where we made wonderful connections with the Presbyterian Church there. We were surprised and encouraged by the intertwined history of Trinidad, India and the Presbyterian Church. God obviously has a rich plan for us, as we pull together what we thought were separate pieces but are, in fact, interconnected.
On the 18th of February I leave for Bangladesh. I am going with my sister Glenda Bhagwandass and Bob McCarthy, co-founder of Friends of the World Charitable Trust. We are planning to gather information and meet with several people who are interested in helping us start the beauty school. I look forward to sharing more concrete plans with you in March. Please pray that our trip to Bangladesh is blessed and fruitful.
