Greetings!

September is often a time of change. I hope you're enjoying this month, as warm summer days turn into crisp, cool fall mornings and evenings, and the kids return to school. I have been very busy trying to put my missions plan into action this month. The six orphans from Home of Joy who are supposed to travel to Trinidad for vocational training are still eagerly awaiting their travel date. As mentioned in last month's newsletter, there have been delays due to the denial of their air transit visas by the UK. We are now working with the U.S. Embassy to see if the young people can fly through the United States. God is showing us how hard it is to be an orphan from a third-world country and challenging us to continue helping them! I am more committed than ever to making this happen, and I am again reminded of how blessed I am. I appreciate your ongoing prayers and support and I look forward to reporting good news next month!

Thank You and God Bless,

Allure Spa Supports the Stop Child Trafficking Now Walk on the Boston Common!

Join Allure Spa at the Stop Child Trafficking Now Walk as we rally together at the Boston Common on October 2, 2010, to end child slavery in this generation! On the weekend of October 2-3, 2010, thousands of individuals in communities across the United States and Canada will participate in SCTNow Walks to raise funds and bring awareness to the issue of child trafficking.

You are invited to play a vital role in saving the life of a child by joining as a walker or team captain and helping us in our efforts to raise funds to support SCTNow's bold new approach that addresses the demand side of child sex trafficking. Please see SCTNow's movie on Facebook for more information.

Please register to walk or if you are unable to walk you can still make a donation. Donations may also be made via check, payable to SCTNow, and mailed to SCTNow, 414 West 51st Street, Lower Level, New York, NY 10019. Please be sure to include "Boston Walk" in the memo line.

Thank you for your support and for making a difference for the 2.5 million children enslaved in the commercial sex industry.
