Greetings! 
I hope you are enjoying the beautiful month of August. It is also a very busy time for preparing for the school year. I welcome teachers and students to 10% off a hair service in the months of August and September. This summer I have been very dedicated to Friends of the World Charitable Trust. The six young adults from Bangladesh were scheduled to travel to Trinidad for their vocational training in the beginning of August. Unfortunately, we are experiencing a delay because their transit visas were denied before their travels. We have been working on the accuracy of the paperwork and proper documentation. They are currently scheduled to travel from Bangladesh to Trinidad on September 11. This delay has given me the opportunity to be restful and prepare for the new season. Deb O'neil
Deb has been a massage therapist for over eleven years and a great employee to Allure for ten. She and her brother will be moving to Eastport, Maine, in early September. She has been such a great asset to Allure Spa, with her kindness and helpful ways. She has touched both clients' lives as well as our lives. We wish her luck in all her future endeavors.

| Lorraine Walsh is a hairdresser here at Allure Spa. She came from Cork, Ireland, to America over ten years ago with her brother, Colin, and friends. She will be traveling back to her homeland for the first time since her move. Lorraine will be leaving September 3 and returning on September 22. We wish Lorraine a fulfilling trip to visit family and friends in Ireland.

This was one of those perfect New England days in late summer where the spirit of autumn takes a first stealing flight, like a spy, through the ripening country-side, and, with feigned sympathy for those who droop with August heat, puts her cool cloak of bracing air about leaf and flower and human shoulders.
