Dear Friends,
I hope you are all enjoying your summer with friends and family. Please take the time to be restful and indulge in relaxation.
As many of you already know, in the spring of 2010 I had the opportunity to travel to Bangladesh on a mission trip. My vision is to establish a school and business in Bangladesh so young women and men can learn marketable skills and be self-sufficient.
As a result I have established the Friends of the World Charitable Trust. Starting August 7, five of the young adults from the Home of Joy Orphanage will arrive in Port of Spain to begin a two-month training course. We have been raising funds to help cover the costs connected to this venture. If you wish to make a contribution, it is always greatly appreciated. Checks can be made out to Friends of the World Charitable Trust.
