About Bob Meyer
Robert "Bob" Meyer joined the Wagoner Maxcy Westbrook Law Firm in September 2004 as Accounts Receivable Manager. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Bob had a variety of work experiences prior to joining the firm. After receiving a Master of Education Degree in Counseling and Guidance from Ohio University, Bob began his professional career as a high school teacher and coach. That was followed by employment with the Iowa Department of Education as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, working with people with varying physical and mental disabilities. He then made a career with the federal government, primarily with the U.S. Department of Labor focusing on the employment and training of veterans. Following retirement from the federal government, Bob worked for Kansas City Power & Light as a Human Resources Specialist and with Sears as a Bankruptcy Representative in federal bankruptcy court. Bob and his wife Ruth are proud of their family of four adult children and nine grandchildren. In addition to serving as volunteers for several agencies, they try to stay busy by visiting their families, three of whom live out of state. Bob's many interests include reading, fishing, playing duplicate bridge and mentoring youth in athletics and academics. He also serves as a mediator for the U.S. Postal Service and Clay County Juvenile Court. |
