Fruit Trees, Ornamental Trees and Northwest Grown Shrubs
Many of our trees and shrubs are locally grown in Mt. Vernon by the Biringer Family Nursery and are ideally suited to Western Washington climates and soils. The Biringer family has been growing in the Pacific Northwest since 1974 and offer us the very highest quality trees and deciduous shrubs.
Our fruit trees are available in mini-dwarf, (great for containers, decks and other and small areas) dwarf and semi-dwarf stock. We carry Biringer grown peaches, apples, cherry, prunes and Asian pears. You will find combination trees with 5 types of Asian pears, and dwarf espaliered apple trees with 4 or more types of apples on a single tree. Most of our fruit trees will bear in the first year!
We have a great assortment of ornamental flowering trees and shrubs, such as Mt. Fuji Flowering Cherry, Crimson Pointe Flowering Plum and even Weeping Pussy Willows. Look for our fabulous selection of lilacs and hydrangeas. Come in early for the best selection of our favorite trees and shrubs. Its a great time to plant!
Tip: Start fertilizing your fruit trees now for better crops and healthier trees. We have an assortment of organic and natural products in our store to choose from. We recommend using a Safer brand systemic to protect your trees throughout the growing season from disease and pests.

Our Roses have Arrived!
Our fabulous selection of high quality Jackson & Perkins and Weeks Roses are now available.
We have a fantastic variety of Northwest favorites as well as some great new Roses. We've brought in a limited supply of Sedona, the new 2010 hybrid tea of the year as well as the 2010 Floribunda of the Year, Monkey Business.
For extraordinary Tree Roses, our offering this year includes Double Delight, Fragrant Cloud, Sunsprite, Legend, Ronald Reagan, Happy Chappy, Just Joey, Purple Tiger and Sweet Intoxication!
Tip: Now is the time to prune your roses. Begin to fertilize, weed and mulch around your flower and rose beds. Give us a call if you need advice. We are here to help.

Organic and Natural Products
 Our store will be featuring a new larger display of Organic and Natural products for 2010. We have always believed in preserving the environment and you will see that reflected in our store again this year. We are a Certified Natural Care Nursery. You will also see more lines of Organic fertilizers and Natural plant care products than ever before. Our lineup will include products from Monterey, Safer, Advanced Nutrients, Fox Farms, Sweet Earth, Black Gold, Alaska Fish, Kellogs and others. We have just the right product for your containers, soil and hydroponic systems. These products are good for your garden and better for the environment.
When preparing your garden for the spring, think about Kellogs Organic Mulch, Burlap and other ground coverings to reduce the need for both watering and weeding. We have many products to choose from.
Tip: Do as we have done in our greenhouses for many years, start with the most gentle cure, and only 'kick it up" if necessary. Your plants and the world will thank you. | |
