with the help of retired social worker mary fayne glotfelty and so many others
In honor of her life's work and her late husband Charles Glotfelty, Mary Fayne Glotfelty, 88, gave a surprise $200,000 donation to cap the YWCA $2 Million Challenge Campaign by its December 31, 2009 deadline.
Thanks to Mrs. Glotfelty and nearly 500 other donors - including an equally generous donation from the Mel Wolf Foundation - we have matched the challenge put forth by Mr. Lyell Clay and created a $4 million endowment fund for our critical social service programs.
