Many little faces

Dearest Friend,

This past year has been challenging for many of us. However, to the people the YWCA of Charleston reaches each year in Kanawha, Clay and Boone counties, our services have proven especially vital. Last year alone, we provided direct social services to more than 4,000 individuals; sheltered 1,376 children and adults; provided 12,486 hours of free counseling and case management; and served 131,038 nutritious meals. Because of these services, thousands of our clients have moved on to become independent, productive members of our community.

Today, our homeless shelter and domestic violence shelter are filled to capacity as we help women and families gain self-sufficiency through education, job training, counseling, advocacy and childcare.

Would you please open your heart and share your blessings this holiday season? Your gift will help us continue to offer hope to women and families in greatest need in our community. Make your gift online, over the phone (304-414-3113) or mail it to our address below. On behalf of Jaekob, Jaylin, JayShaud, Xavier, and the thousands of others we serve, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Have a truly wonderful holiday!
