PHOTOGRAPHY AND DIGITAL DOCUMENTARY
BY STEPHANIE C. ROBERTS

Greetings!

I hope this email finds you well, my friend. And I hope you are pushing yourself to explore new spaces and expand your view.

Self Reflected
Silhouette at Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. iPhone image.

On January 1st, I chose the word "seek" to guide my actions this year. Unlike a resolution, it can't be broken, but it's a touchstone to help me focus. I'm seeking: truth in my images; trust in my intuition; new experiences to broaden my vision; and a more creative approach to life.

In the spirit of this, I've started a daily iPhoneography journal comprised of images shot and processed with my iPhone. Like a sketchbook, it's intended to be loose, experimental, and more abstract than my professional work. Like a journal, it's a daily practice in documentary and personal expression. I'm finding that it pushes me to think and move more creatively each day.

I'd love to hear what's inspiring you lately. Tell me your stories, and let's see how I can help you visualize and share them.

Best regards,
Stephanie Roberts

Hope for His Music: Video Interview with Kwizera Alfred

Kwizer AlfredWhen Kwizera Alfred speaks in a soft voice about his dream of sharing his music with the world, you can feel his unwavering faith in that dream. A faith that has been tested by the loss of his parents and a commitment to help provide food, shelter, and tuition for his siblings. His music is not yet available for sale online, but do take a moment to hear his voice and help his dream take flight.
