PHOTOGRAPHY AND DIGITAL DOCUMENTARY
BY STEPHANIE C. ROBERTS

Greetings!
stephanieroberts
Happy New Year! I'm excited to announce the birth of LittlePurpleCow Productions and my focus on photography and digital documentary-style productions. My approach combines photography, video, music, audio narration, and interviews to share a story or highlight a unique aspect of your organization in a compelling and authentic way. Productions are crafted to meet your specific audience and communication needs.

You can incorporate the photographs and digital video productions in your web site, blog or presentations, elevating the creative appeal of your marketing and communication efforts. Let's talk about your ideas and see how I can support you.

Warm regards,
Stephanie Roberts

Wondering what a digital documentary can do for your organization?

Walton Regional Medical Center turned to LittlePurpleCow Productions to shine a light on their Same Day Surgery practice. Despite record-high patient satisfaction scores, few residents in this community were aware that they didn't have to leave the county to receive high quality care from seasoned surgeons. Watch the video.
Behind the Lens: An Interview with Photojournalist Rick Smolan
Rick SmolanRick Smolan's rich history in photography began on the covers of Time, LIFE and National Geographic and evolved into the production of story-based photography projects including the well-known Day in the Life Series, Passage to Vietnam, Power to Heal, America 24/7 and most recently America at Home. Tune in to hear the fascinating story of his start as a photographer and get a glimpse of the man behind the lens. Listen to the interview.

One of my great 2008 photography resource discoveries came from my friend Tony Casadonte of Lumiere Gallery in Atlanta. ACP or Atlanta Celebrates Photography is a non-profit organization that hosts an annual, month-long photography festival each October. ACP maintains a blog ACP Now! throughout the year. It aggregates Atlanta gallery openings and events, video interviews with fine art photographers such Denise Lira-Ratinoff, and links to powerful mixed media stories such as Kristen Ashburn's "Bloodline" project on display at the Atlanta Photography Group Gallery beginning Friday, January 9 through March 6.
