Surgeries/Procedures/Appointments
Don Coffin: Surgery today: Dad has a double hernia. He is going in for surgery on Monday at Edmond Regional Hospital. Please pray that God will give the doctor & staff the skill and wisdom needed for this surgery as well as for his recovery. He will probably stay overnight. Anna
He had a cat scan yesterday. He has a hernia and is going to see the surgeon today. Anna Please pray for my dad, Don Coffin. He has been pretty sick and we are currently going thru testing to figure out what's going on. Please pray that we would have some answers soon. Hopefully he's getting a cat scan today and then we should know something. Anna Coffin
Bill Yarbrough: I am scheduled for radiation on 30 Mar; 31 Mar; and 1 Apr. Chemo will start on 2 Apr. Hopefully the three radiation treatments will kill the cancer cells. The number of chemo treatments has not been determined yet but will depend on blood work and follow up PET imaging. (I send my love to all my prayer partners.) Bill Yarbrough
Veronica Morava: Two weeks ago, we visited with Rep.Tibbs who is the House author of SB539. (She also openly shared her faith in God). She expressed her support of the added language regarding a Victim's right to a Speedy Trial. She also invited us to come back in two weeks on Wednesday, April 1 to speak at the House Committee Meeting. At this meeting they will vote to add the additional language and prayerful Title the Bill. We are asking for prayers for this meeting if it gets past on the 1st it will then go back to the Senate for a final vote then on to the Governor to be signed into a Law. After the visit today we left the Capital with high expectations for SB539 to become a Law! We know that God has purposed our every step and given us every word to speak! Thank you for your prayers! Blessings, Veronica and Kasey From Gussie Chappell: Update 25Mar: Pam will be having a stress test on April 6. Tests showed high cholesterol. They are waiting for more test results before prescribing medication.

Updates and Current Requests:
Melvin Triplett: Update 30Mar: Serious, but stable. Saturday night was rough because he had an irregular heartrate all night. Sunday his heartbeat was better. Please continue to pray.
Please pray for Melvin as he had a backhoe accident yesterday. He is at OU Trauma Center. He was mediflighted out of Guthrie about 6pm yesterday after the accident. He was run over by his backhoe when he got out and it popped out of gear. He has several broken bones and survived several surgeries last night. His wife is Connie Triplett.
Colleen Coffman: Update 29Mar: Colleen is somewhat better. The doctor gave her a steriod shot today (Sunday) and ordered a nebulizer breathing treatment machine to be delivered to their home. They want to give the oral antibiotics more time to do their work but there does seem to be improvement. She is past the flu...the headache and fever. Hopefully she'll be feeling much better soon.
Colleen has been sick for over a week now and it has turned into pneumonia. She will go back to the doctor for a re-check on Sunday and may have to be hospitalized if the medication hasn't done what it needs to do. Please pray healing for Colleen.
Charles Webb: Charles had some x-rays that showed some spots on his lungs. He had some more x-rays this morning and won't hear anything until Monday. Please keep him in your prayers. From Kay Webb
From Kathy Downs: Update 29Mar: She was released from the hospital Saturday evening. It took a while for the swelling to go down. They stopped the medicine they think was causing the allergic reaction.
My mother, Donna George, is in Logan Hospital for allergic reaction to unknown substance. She was unable to breathe, but is improving.
From Nancy Kemp: Please add Hattie Kemp (Gordon's mother) to our prayer list. She was hospitalized last night with pneumonia (she also has emphysema), and wasn't eating. Gordon's father is just recovering from pneumonia, but refuses to leave the hospital to get some rest (they have been married 68 years). Pray for healing in both; and for Gordon's flight there to be a safe one. Our son's (Big Mike and Michael B.) are there with them; and also need some rest. Please Pray that God's wisdom touches the hearts and minds of our family as we must make some important decisions effecting their health, safety and happiness in and for the future. Many blessing; Thank you, Nancy Kemp
From Tracy Smith: Please pray for my sister, Trina McCracken, and some health issues she is having.
From Vickie Delaney: Update 18Mar: Candace Wheeler-Morris is a 24 yr old young lady, that I've known every since she was 4 yrs. old. She has a brain tumor that is inoperable at this time. Candace is having 3-6 seizures a day, and her heart rate is extremely high and her respirations are extremely low. She is in critical condition at OU Medical Center. Please pray for a miracle. Vickie We have prayed for Vickie's friend, Candace. She has been taken to OU Medical Center with low blood count and she is not doing well. Vickie asked for prayer for Candace and her family.
Carolyn Jones: daughter of Juanita Weatherford...she had surgery recently to fix scar tissue in her throat from acid reflux. She needs prayer for recovery.
From Pam Albright: Update 11Mar: Darci Update: Darci is coming home from Dallas today. Please continue to pray as she continues her recovery at home. Mary Update: I just heard from Mary B and the PET scan results showed no change in the cancer. She was having another test today, cat scan I think, and waiting on radiology to see about the radiation treatment. She also has the double chemo today that takes three hours. She sounded okay but you could hear the disappointment in her voice. Please keep her in your prayers. I have 2 co-workers that are getting ready to start treatment for cancer. Darci Beaver is 34 years old and is divorced with two sons ages 6 & 8. This is her second time through this, but she is going to have to go to Dallas for a least a month to have a stem cell transplant. She could possibly be off work for 3 - 6 months. She started chemo a few weeks ago and has tried to continue to work, but you can see it is very hard on her. Her ex-mother-in-law use to keep the boys, but she is suffering from some health issues, so the boys have had to return to daycare. Besides being hard on her body, this is going to be very hard on her financially.
Mary Bovino is older and a leukemia surviver. She found out the day after Christmas that she has lung cancer. She goes to the doctor today to find out when her treatments will begin. Some of the doctors did not give her long to live and others think it is treatable. She does not think she is going to die. She says she feels too good and doesn't think God is finished with her here. However, if it does worsen she says she is ready to go, because she has lost 3 of her 4 children and is ready to join them. We are hoping that Mary will be able to continue to work, because she does not have any disability and after missing so much work, she would lose her health care benefits. Please pray for both of these ladies. They both said they could not go through this without God and the power of prayer. Thank you, Pam Albright
