Issue 7

January 2010

Greetings!

You're receiving this eZine issue on February 1st, but because I managed to finish writing it on January 31st, I'm still counting it as the January issue. What can I say? I love being my own boss!

January has been an unusually busy month with the successful launch of the Delicious Cleanse. Plus, I added extra calls and material (can't help myself) and I've been working hard to get it all out to the amazing, dedicated clients I have in this group. If you missed out this time, stay tuned for future Cleanse groups. As one Delicious Cleanse client has already said,

"This isn't just a cleanse; it's a full transformation!"

If your goal is to eat organic but you are concerned that buying organic is too expensive for your budget, this month's article is for you. In Eating Organic on a Budget: 10 Tips to Save and Savor, I share with you some of the very same tricks I use to make sure Andy and I can eat organic, "clean" food while keeping our grocery bill in check.

After a marathon January, I decided not to have any special events in February. Instead, I invite you to RSVP and SAVE THE DATE for two of my live events coming up soon in the San Francisco Bay Area, on March 1st and April 1st. Scroll down to Upcoming Events below for details... Past performance tends to be indicative of future performance at these events. These events will sell out, so don't hesitate - secure your spot now.

This month's recipe is Coconut Yam Soup. It's super easy and perfect as a mood-lifting, health-fortifying, soul-soothing winter treat.

I hope you enjoy your Byte. If you change your mind, you may unsubscribe at any time by scrolling to the very bottom of this page and clicking on the unsubscribe link.

Wishing you a deliciously healthy February!

What Are You Putting ON Your Body?

Ever wonder where that moisturizer, lipstick, deodorant, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, baby powder, perfume really goes - after you put it on and forget about it?

Well, all of these find their way to your liver, usually within 15 minutes. After all, they qualify as incoming goods that your body must sort through, and the brunt of that labor falls on the liver.

Be nice to your liver. Poor thing does 100s of things for you; don't you owe it one favor?

Find out how safe these and many more cosmetic and skincare products are.

The Environmental Working Group has a fantastic database called Skin Deep that you can check out here: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/.

And, while you're at it, find yourself safer alternatives for your gooey, pasty, colorful, poufy stuff.

Note: I have no monetary relationship with any of the people, practitioners, places, or programs I recommend unless I specifically note otherwise. I just want to share these amazing resources with you!
