PECO Energy plans to upgrade gas service in the Township, but the construction will impact area roads. The project will be done in three phases. Most of the work will occur at night - from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Phase One - West Chester Pike between Roosevelt Avenue and Eagle Road - is expected to start on April 16, 2012 and end by May 16, 2012.
Phase Two - Eagle Road between Lawrence Road and Hillcrest Road - is scheduled to begin on May 17, 2012 and end by June 8, 2012.
Phase Three - Will start on June 8, 2012 and continue until September 28, 2012.
If you have questions about this project, please do not call the Township. Because this project is on state roads, the Township has no input or control over work hours or locations.
