Emergency Township Unveils Emergency Notification System

Emergency Notification System

The newly-created Haverford Township Emergency Notification System permits the Township to contact residents in case of an emergency. This system, combined with other emergency alert methods, is designed to provide emergency messages to the public quickly and effectively. This service is different from 911 -- which you should still call during an emergency -- and provides an additional method of notifying residents when the need arises.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

*The Township maintains a regularly-updated database of all land line telephone numbers registered in Haverford Township. Feel free to list any additional land line phone numbers; the Township is also interested in gathering cell phone numbers and email addresses.

*If you have a Haverford Township address, please provide it in the Street Address field so that, in the event of a localized emergency, your local address can be integrated with the notification system's mapping capabilities.

*This information will remain in the custody of the Haverford Township Emergency Management, and will only be used for Emergency Notification purposes.

The Township appreciates your taking the time to provide this important information.
