Leaf Drop-Off;
Recycling Clarification

In addition, the Public Works Department has clarified the details about plastic recycling.

The Township recycles all
plastics , numbers 1 through 7,  except large items such as plastic playhouses, or anything over 3 feet or 40 pounds, which qualifies as bulk trash. There is no restriction about the size of lids or the shape of the containers.

4th Ward Meeting Highlights

Thanks to everyone who attended the 4th Ward Constituent meeting on Wednesday, May 13th, and to those of you who could not attend but emailed me with questions and comments. I expect to hold the next meeting in the late summer or early fall.

Among the topics raised were traffic (everywhere from our local streets to Eagle, Darby & Lawrence Roads), billboards, neighborhood parking issues, backboards in the streets, lawn signs, "Slow Down" signs, traffic lights, and a host of other topics.

Reaction to the meeting was extremely positive. Thanks also to the Township officials who attended the meeting: Township Manager Larry Gentile, Assistant Township Manager Lori Hanlon-Widdop, Police Chief Carmen Pettine, Assistant Police Chief John Viola, Township Solicitor Jim Byrne and Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation Brian Barrett.

As always, feel free to email me or give me a call with any questions or concerns.
