Superfund Meeting Exhibits Available On Commissioner's Website
The photographs used as exhibits by the EPA at the April 20, 2009 public meeting are available for review on the Superfund page of Commissioner Dan Siegel's website (just click here). The photographs show the planned construction on the site as well as information about the PCPs still on the site.
From the Superfund page, you can also link to the EPA's web page about the Superfund site, which spans Eagle Road (including the Swiss Farms store and the bubble gum factory). While the EPA answered many questions at the recent meeting, I believe it is important for residents to see the photographs, and to visit the EPA site, so that they can understand the current status of the EPA's efforts. |

4th Ward Meeting Reminder
The 4th Ward Constituent meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the Quatrani Building (behind the Township Building) at 2325 Darby Road in Havertown. This is an open forum for all 4th Ward residents to ask questions, comment about issues, etc.
In addition to Commissioner Dan Siegel, other invited participants include Township Manager Larry Gentile, Assistant Township Manager Lori Hanlon-Widdop, Assistant Township Manager Tim Denny and Police Chief Carmen Pettine. |
Zoning Hearing Board
Billboard Hearing
The May 7, 2009 Zoning Hearing Board meeting, at which the Board will hear testimony concerning the challenge to the Township sign ordinance, which prohibits the construction of billboards, will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at Lynnewood Elementary School, 1440 Lawrence Road in Havertown.
