From its 2001 beginnings at F I U to today's sexy South Beach setting,the 2011 South Beach Wine & Food Festival sizzles at Hotel beaches & clubs that were , until recently empty lots :  the "W" - Setai & Gansevoort -  the Loews - the Delano -  and also, the famed Fontainebleau - Ocean Drive's Betsy Hotel - and Atlantic Ocean beaches : massive renovations !  

NOW, the glam of South Beach is a World-renown destination ! And, THIS Weekend is illuminated by The FOOD NETWORK'S brightest STARS [ enjoyed by its 96 million viewers ! ]  

South Florida's most talented culinarians - including the 2011 FOOD & WINE and James Beard Nominees Timon Balloo of Sugarcane - and Philippe Ruiz of Palme d'Or at the Biltmore   [ joined by Michelin-starred chefs from Bordeaux  and Biarritz FRANCE ] are heating up the beach - and, Coral Gables - with hundreds of winemakers - food producers - chefs and pastry chefs  - FROM Everywhere.  

RACHAEL RAY  hosts the country's largest & most inventive Burger Bash at the Ritz Carlton. On the beach at the Delano : BOBBY FLAY - Claude Troisgros & AL ROKER hosts the l a s t  Perrier Jouet BubbleQ . [ Why not use this invaluable part of the Fest to honor the LOCAL South Florida citizens who provided the initial love, support and momentum - at prices resembling those days ! ]   

Martha Stewart - Moet Hennessy - and  Emeril Lagasse  are hosting the 10th Anniversary "Let Them Eat Cake"at the new 1111 Lincoln Road  building with Pastry Chefs from GODIVA Chocolate & Jacques Torres from New York.
