Tips and Tricks to Make Life Easier
It's easier to be lazy when you're organized. |

That is, read this now and then file or delete it. How ironic if it were to become e-clutter! |

Do Move It Out
Clutter is very often things you don't even want. They hang around because you don't have an easy way to remember to take them. The in-and-out bag solves this. Station a recognizable tote bag or bin somewhere convenient (doorknob, next to your desk, etc.) & toss in those items that need to leave with you. Bring it back in with any incoming items, & repeat! |

Don't Stay Up
Here's a friendly reminder of what your mother & that voice in your head tell you: go to bed, already! I know it might be the only time to fit in your work or fun, but when you feel yourself lose focus, pull the plug. Neither work nor play will be as good as it should be once you hit that wall; better to get up early to finish, or rearrange tomorrow. |

Get Space
Squeeze every inch of storage out of a vertical area (e.g., cabinet, closet shelf) with a cheap cabinet shelf, turning that sad, empty upper region into actual real estate. Now you can store things where before they would've piled atop lower items, making those inaccessible. I use these throughout my home & in countless client projects. |
