For those of you who, like me, don't have all of your holiday decorations up & gifts wrangled & wrapped yet, pull out your calendar & make some appointments with yourself to prepare for the joyous season. Setting aside real chunks of time to focus & act will feel luxurious, & will pay off miraculously in relaxed enjoyment.

Don't Buy Gifts
I'm all for giving gifts, but if you're one of those people with a stack of gift cards & certificates hiding away in a drawer, use these to purchase gifts instead of shelling out actual money. Or swap your card for another vendor's at a site like Plasticjungle. Or, of course, there's always the gift of a home-made cookie kit!
