...with Apartment Therapy's Fall Cure. Choose a home-improvement project and, with other "curees" on the program, break it down into manageable steps over 8 weeks. I'm doing it! I'd love to hear from those of you out there who are too -- we all have a few projects to tackle, even a professional organizer. |

Don't Buy Hangers Help yourself maintain a well-edited closet -- one where anything you grab is something you like -- by refusing to buy new hangers. Decide what number of items is reasonable for you. Then it's your puzzle to ferret out those you no longer love, to free up a hanger for a new item. Principle: use limits to your advantage. |

Get a Duplicate Phone Charger "A duplicate?? Who are you and what have you done to Molly?" -- I can hear the worried calls now. But an extra, stored in your luggage, is a smart duplication if you're the type to forget to pack your charger when you travel (and end up buying new ones). Principle: store items where you use them. |
