Martha will once again be serving in Leland at the Wine and Food Festival so stop by and say hello. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. down in Marina Park next to Fishtown.

Starting on Wednesday, June 20th, and serenading you each Wednesday evening all summer long, it's the Windy Ridge Boys! Join us on the patio for Martha's delicious dining and wonderful summertime music!

Martha's Cooking Class Schedule   

Plan to join us for one of this summer's cooking classes at Martha's.   

Enjoy Martha's fun and informative, 2 hour, hands-on cooking experience, followed by a delicious dinner served by Martha and staff in her charming 110-year-old farmhouse dining room. Dinner includes a featured local wine. Martha's cooking classes are for cooks of all ages and experience levels. (Children and teens -- 12 and over -- must be accompanied by an adult.)

 

Classes start July 9th at 6 PM and continue through August 13th. Each class includes the recipes, a glass of local wine, and a multi-course dinner prepared that evening. $95 per person, per class, plus tax unless otherwise noted. Call 231-271-2344 for reservations.
Cooking classes are limited to 10 people. Prepayment or credit card guarantee is required.

July 9  Special Guest Cook, Rose Hollander 
Rose has just returned from completing the 12 week certificate course at the prestigious Ballymaloe Cookery School in Shanagarry, County Cork, Ireland. Learn more about Rose's passion for food and enjoy a memorable meal based on her Ballymaloe experience.

 

July 16  Gluten-Free Dinner and Dessert
Let Martha show you how tasty a gluten-free meal can be! Susan McConnell and Carrie Ballou from Martha's Pastry Department will join Martha to offer a very special and timely evening full of great tips and recipes for gluten-free cooking.

 

July 23  Martha Goes Belgian
Brewmaster Charlie Psenka from Leelanau Brewing Company and Northern United Brewing Company is teaming up with Martha. She will supervise the preparation of a scrumptious meal, and he will let you taste and sample several of his favorite Belgian ales and beers.

 

July 30  Farm Market Dinner
Foods from the Leelanau County and Traverse City farm markets will be featured, proving one more time how many wonderful tasting, organic foods are available locally. One of Martha's most popular annual classes, come see what special fare she prepares with you using the fresh ingredients she has chosen.

 

August 6  Spanish Tapas, Pintxos and Paella
Join Martha on a culinary tour through Spain. Learn why she loves Spanish cuisine so much and go home with some truly exceptional recipes to use with your friends and family. Start with olive oil and garlic, and let your imagination soar. Come hungry!

 

August 13 Croatian Feast
Join Martha as she cooks her way through the Dalmatian Coast from Dubrovnik all the way north to Slovenia. Martha will be leading a food and wine tour to Croatia in the fall. Those booked for her Croatia tour get a discount.

Travel photos by Suttons Bay Photographer, Bill Muempfer, are now on display at Martha's from June 3 - July 14. This collection of photos focuses on people and food from Bill's travels all over the world. Martha will host an Opening Reception for Bill on Tuesday, June 12th at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Please join us!
