Campaign Highlights

General Electric  just finished its successful campaign, which featured an ice cream social , numerous fun activities throughout the campaign, a pizza party , and still to come... a karaoke performance by the "winners" of penny wars!

Congratulations to the entire team for a well-run campaign full of best practices.   With the corporate match, GE employees increased their campaign over $10,000 from last year!

GE's Rob Garry and Steve Roy serve ice cream at a fund raiser to get everyone ready for kickoff!

Sherry Foutz at Boxley led another fabulous campaign this year! With great participation from their employees, they were able to top last year by over $20,000! Thank you to Boxley for all their support.

Getting Out in the Community

Tis the season. Help us celebrate the holidays by making them special for someone else! The United Way Roanoke Valley has plenty of opportunities for holiday drives - help support our partner agencies such as Feeding America, Trust House, Bethany Hall, and more! If you would like more information on ways to give back to our community, please contact Kristin Adkins at kristin@uwrv.org.

Members of the GE Employee Campaign Manager team hear about Goodwill and the Adult Care Center, and the programs United Way helps fund at those agencies.  Would you and your team like to tour partner agencies to find out how donations to United Way benefit the community?  Contact your Development Associate contact or sonya@uwrv.org!
