DNR Trail Ambassador Training January 2010
 

Description:       Volunteer Trail Ambassador Training

 

Class Date:        Tuesday, May 11, 2010

 

Class Time:       9AM - 5PM

 

County:             Morrison           

 

Location:           Camp Ripley - 15011 Hwy 115 - Little Falls

                        Nelson Hall (through the gates, left at the 4 way stop, 1st building on right)

                       


Pre-registration is required. There is no fee to attend.

Individuals registering for this training must meet the following requirements:

 

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must be a Certified MN DNR Volunteer ATV Instructor that is currently active.  Must possess a valid drivers license.

Must complete the MN DNR ATV Safety Training CD.

Must pre-study current Minnesota Off-Highway Vehicle Regulations booklet.

Please bring a pen and your driver's license.  Other training materials will be supplied.

 

All individuals wanting to volunteer for the Trail Ambassador program must be sponsored by a local qualified organization. 

 

Qualified Organizations

Qualified organizations, or sponsors, (i.e. local OHV clubs) are required to be current members in good standing of one of the following:

 

v  Amateur Riders Motorcycle Association (ARMCA);

v  All-Terrain Vehicle Association of Minnesota (ATVAM);

v  Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association (MnUSA)

v  Minnesota 4 Wheel Drive Association (MN4WDA). 

 

Qualifying organizations must be willing participants in the Trail Ambassador grant program.
