Thank you to all of you that have been encouraging me to get the next edition of my newsletter out. It is nice to know that so many of you are enjoying it.
Having said that, the staging world has been extremely busy and so has interior decorating - a good sign for the housing market & Vancouver's economy.

Beautiful Character Home in East Van $ 320,000 over asking in 5 days

These homeowners were a little bit apprehensive of the work I was suggesting we do, to get their home sale ready. The realtors knowledge of homes & her belief in staging, combined with our enthusiasm to get them the best price possible, resulted in getting the green light to go ahead.
This project was a combination of Redesign, Staging & Updates.
Within 5 days we had this home updated with fresh paint, new light fixtures throughout, 75% of the homeowners furniture was removed and we staged it with art, furniture & accessories. A $6,000 investment brought them a $320,0000 return in just a few short days.

This gorgeous home on Angus Drive had some difficulties selling last year. It was on the market for 8 months with no success.
Although the bones of the home were fabulous, it lacked what I call "soul" and I couldn't wait to "Bring it to Life".
It was relisted, and the Realtors, who know the invaluable art of home staging, brought me in to meet the homeowner.
