The Littlest Spa Newsletter
September 2009
Dear Constant Reader,

Wow!  I thought we were going to slow down in August, but no!  August was our highest volume for new clients and number of treatments yet.  We did manage to take off a few days for fun and classes.

Check out our new "Yard Work" special massage cards when you come in next.  These are a perfect bribe, I mean treat, for your loved one's overworked shoulders,
arms and back.  Present them to your favorite yard worker, gardener, or leaf raker and they will see the light at the end of the tunnel.  New treatment - 30 minute focused massage for $50 with 10% going to Embrace A Family this month.

Natick Days

Saturday, September 12 from 10-4
Henna Art for Hands and Feet

Henna is a natural product and will last about three weeks, fading back to normal skin color.  This will be a great way to show your community spirit.  On Saturday, September 12 downtown Natick is celebrating Natick Days.  Many local charities will be on the Common and lots of fun for the family with clowns, a bounce house, rock climbing wall and loads of other fun stuff.  The downtown will be blocked off to car traffic, so plan to walk.  Park at the high school and take the free shuttle after 10am and get 4 tickets for activities per person.

Amy will be doing henna art for $5 per hand or foot and all money will go to Embrace A Family.  We will do this outside in front of the spa if it is nice out.  Appointments are not necessary, but if you know you will be by at a certain time we can sign you up early.
Late Summer Seasonal Facial $50
10% of every facial to Embrace A Family

It is our fabulous facial with a new lemon sugar hand treatment.  Get rid of tired, sunblock clogged skin and face the new school year with your head held high.  Make your hands soft and help a local cause. The change of season is a great time to have your skin professionally cleaned.
Foot Massage Class for Couples
Friday, September 25 from 7 - 8pm

Amy will be teaching a relaxing foot massage with some reflexology points.  Each couple will bring home a short routine and samples of handmade seasonal body butter.  This is a great class for couples looking to start a family or just relax at the end of a long day.  No whining or complaining about a spouse not doing a good job will be tolerated!  Email amy@thelittlestspa.com to sign up.  $25 per couple.

This month we will be closed during the day on September 24 and 25 to attend the Natural Products Expo East www.expoeast.com.  We are reserching a new paraben free skin care line for women during the childbearing year or anyone that is very chemically sensitive.

This show is also an all you care to eat wonderland of probiotic enhanced cereal (careful, not too much), vegan marshmallows (umm...) goat milk smoothies (I am not making this up) and hundreds of items made of soy.  We really need two days to see and eat everything. And the free samples!  Last year I had a huge organic cruelty free hemp totebag full to the top with laundry soap, sunscreen and granola bars.  This year we will keep it green and take the train, then walk.

See you soon!
